Join mindfulness-in-nature facilitator, Sandrine Harris, and Thad Kubis, photographer and photography teacher, for an immersive experience in the natural environment at BNRC’s Basin Pond (Lee, MA). This guided mindful photography journey aims to change the way you see and how you engage with both photography and the environments you inhabit.
Registration necessary here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mindful-photography-in-nature-at-basin-pond-lee-tickets-661379813827?aff=erelpanelorg
The walk begins with time for orientation and meeting each other, thinking about photography as a way of seeing, feeling, and an introduction to the concept of ‘pre-visualization’ for your creative vision. During the walk – easeful pace with pauses and guided moments built in – you’re invited to mindfully notice your inner landscape meeting the dynamic forest views around you. Awaken your senses, develop a new perspective on photography, and enjoy a gathering of quiet and reflective moments outdoors.
What to bring: Any camera system (digital or film) or smartphone/tablet; Sturdy footwear.
No experience with photography or meditation is needed
