Join the library for a 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten launch party! 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten encourages parents and caregivers to read to and with their children five and under to foster a love for reading. To celebrate the program, educator Emilia Dahlin will facilitate an interactive child and caregiver Sing Me a Story workshop, exploring themes of early literacy and learning through singing, play, and movement. After the workshop, sign up for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program, explore crafts with early childhood providers, and enjoy light refreshments.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18+ at all times.
